My parents gave me an Apple TV for Christmas. It’s only been hooked up for two days but I love it already.
Do any of you have it? Use it? Love it? Any tips for this Apple TV newbie?
It’s Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada so I thought it appropriate to make a list of five things I’m thankful for this year (besides health, family, friends, work, and the food in my fridge):
1. My black Hunters. They keep me and my feet happy.
2. My 1/2 marathon medal. Ah – the sweet precious medal.
3. My MacBook. I had no idea I would love it this much!
4. My sewing machine. I got it for Christmas last year and adore it. I just wish I had more time for all the sewing projects I have in mind!
5. My new 2011 agenda book (from Paris!). It has a list of text talk acronyms which is going to help me stay in-the-know.
Wishing all you Canadian readers a very Happy Thanksgiving! And wishing all White Cabana readers a very happy weekend!

When my new Macbook isn’t being used in my office or resting on the living room coffee table, it is packed away in my tote bag waiting for me to take it to work. It’s a bit scary when I have to transport it because it remains unprotected. I haven’t yet had the chance to get a case for it and this is making me nervous – I do want to keep it safe, afterall. For travel purposes, I have been carting it around in its box – how pathetic, right? – but the box is anything but convenient and it’s about time I give my Macbook a proper protective sleeve.
After a browse online, I have discovered that CSN has an awesome selection of laptop sleeves – all sizes, colours and patterns – and I have narrowed down my choices. Now, here’s where you come in – which one do you like the best? I would like a white, silver or grey sleeve (no big surprise there, right) even though some of you may think this will be impractical.
The options are:
And so? What are your thoughts? Which one should I get? If you have any other recommendations I would love to hear them!

Alrighty folks – I’m investing in my first Macbook. It doesn’t look quite like this one but it serves the same purpose. Wish me luck on this new adventure!
Many thanks to Jeff for making my first Macbook purchase possible!
