Fashion: Spring Picks from Club Monaco

Club Monaco releases beautiful collections each season, but its light, airy, and white pieces in the spring/summer collections are particularly beautiful. I rarely get to a Club Monaco store because we don’t have one in the Waterloo region, but when I do, I try to pick up a piece or two that will be a little something special in my wardrobe. This skirt and this skirt, for example, have served me well over the years!

Fashion: A Round-Up of My Current Fashion Faves

A few weeks ago, I bought a great outfit at Banana Republic, and it was so nice to add some new pieces to my wardrobe. I don’t go clothes shopping as often as I used to, I have to admit. This is partly because I don’t have time and partly because I don’t need or want anything specific (gosh, I sound so practical and boring, don’t I?).

Even still, I love to browse online and in stores (when I can) to see the new colours and collections each season. Here are some of the items that have recently caught my attention.

They’re such pretty pieces, aren’t they?

The Friday Five: White Hot at Anthropologie

The Anthropologie catalogue arrived last week, and it got me drooling! The store is so full of goodness. While not everything suits my style, I do appreciate Anthro’s overall aesthetic. And the pieces that I have picked out in the past for my home and wardrobe have definitely become some of my favourite items.

These five pieces have caught my summer-loving attention.

The Friday Five: 5 Spring Must-Haves from L.L.Bean

Yes, it’s true, I’m a newbie fan of L.L.Bean, and there’s no turning back. I have been so extremely happy with the quality and design of the items I have received in the last few months. Now that the weather has warmed up slightly, I’ve hung up the long 850 DownTek coat (except when it suddenly gets cold), and I’ve been wearing the Maine Lodge 850 DownTek Hoodie almost daily. So many people have complimented me on it, too, and it seems like they’ve been surprised that it’s an L.L.Bean jacket. Their curiosity has been piqued! In addition, my black L.L.Bean skinny jeans have been put through the washer and dryer on a weekly basis, and they’re still holding their quality and shape. Good news!

So today I thought I’d share with you my top five must-haves for spring from L.L.Bean.

LLbean-eyelet shirt

eyelet shirt popover short-sleeve, $49.95

cotton-slub-pullover-LLBeancotton slub pullover, $39.95

Signature-skinny-jeans-LLBean

Have a great weekend, everyone!
