I know many of us turn to our iPhone, iWatchs, iEverything when we’re looking for the time, but there’s definitely something charming of the old-school (or old-old-old school) way of keeping track of time.
Here are two options from CB2 that can keep you on track for a 15-minute or 1-hour activity.

Round mirrors haven’t ever gone away in the design world, but I haven’t written about them in a long while, so I thought I’d revisit this stylish accessory today.

We are traveling to one of my favourite countries today – Switzerland! While I spent most of my time in the small – but extremely luxurious – town of Gstaad during my visits to Switzerland, I have been fortunate to see many parts of the country.
Zurich, for example, is one city worth visiting because of the art, festivals, and architecture. If you go, perhaps you’ll consider staying at today’s feature hotel – the B2 Boutique Hotel and Spa.
Here’s my take:
bed, bench, pendant lights, black chair, curtains, dining chair, table, blanket
Okay – so today’s “hotel” is technically an AirBnB option, but let’s ignore that for a moment, shall we? It’s a place to stay while you’re traveling, and I think it’s a perfect option for today’s hotel to home post…especially since I’m working with the apartment’s kitchen, and I rarely do kitchens (or have I ever?) on this series. Plus – it’s in Paris!
I’m not offering a full kitchen design, but more like some options for some modern and functional products for your existing kitchen. Have a look and let me know if anything strikes your fancy!
Ikea cabinets, Ikea faucet, Cuisinart toaster, Nespresso machine, wood tray, Ikea plant pot, mugs, cutting board,
I haven’t taken us to South America in my Hotel to Home series yet, have I? I honestly can’t remember, but my hotel searches rarely take me there. Maybe I’ll make more of an effort to explore the south in 2017.
Today we are heading to the hip Hotel Pulitzer in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This hotel is glam, chic, sleek, and inviting. While I do think the bathroom design is beautiful, I’ve opted to rework one of its bedrooms.

Who wants to go to Paris? Oh, I do! I do! If I had an endless sum of money, I’d go once a month just to get a croissant and baguette!
The Hotel Panache in Paris isn’t a classic Parisan hotel, but it sure does impress. I love this unique bentwood headboard against monochromatic, subtle prints.
And here’s what the room inspired me to create:
headboard, pillow, bed linens, chandelier, wallpaper, shelf, chair
Fill this one up with sweet tea, orange juice, sangria, wine, egg nog, or lemon water, and you’ve got yourself a hard-working, perfect-all-year-round pitcher!

Holiday parties are starting, and I’m certain they’ll be full of laughter, food, and great music. Perhaps even some disco ball decor (it’s not just for New Year’s Eve!)!?

Don’t your business cards deserve a little shine? Yeah, I thought so.

I have not yet pulled the trigger on a new bed. I know, I know, it’s been months since I first posted about my bed dreams! I just cannot decide. I thought I wanted a foot board because the bed looks more complete to me, but now I’m not so sure. I fear this bed decision will never be made!
Christine featured this gorgeous bed from CB2 on her blog back in July, and I really really like it. Sleek, modern, fancy, simple…it’s awesome. But a canopy? Am I a four-poster-canopy-bed type of person?

Here’s a more traditional four-poster bed that is quite textured. I don’t think this bed is for me, but I do think it’s interesting.

Then I spotted this one, and I quite like it, too. It’s completely different from the black one above. This one is low and minimal.

My bed research keeps bringing me back to the feminine French rounded bed that I posted about earlier, and here’s the latest addition to my photo collection.

And still keeping with feminine curves, this bed from West Elm looks fancy. There are so many fabric options so customization is pretty easy.

And the research continues…
