Marketplace: Back to Bikes

I haven’t yet bought a new bike, but I have continued to think about it, talk to people about them, and learn more about different brands and styles. As such, I’m rounding up another list of hot bikes that I’ve been researching.

Bisou_Ivory-1

Bisou, $695, Tokyobike

DUTCHI8_CREAM_1024x1024

Dutchi 8, $829, Linus

cs_LC21_21

LC21 Legend, 329 Euro, Peugeot

55501_8

M7 Mixte, $599 (on sale), Public

Step-Through-Classic-7-spd-Bone

step-through classic 3 speed, $729, Simcoe

Achielle

Craighton Pure, Achielle

I like the step-through bikes a lot, but I think I like the straight lines of the Tokyobike and Public bikes better.

What do you think? Do you have a bike? What kind?

The Linus is cute…but they all look great! Have you looked at Urkai.com? It’s a Dutch bike store in Burlington with cool selection of European bikes.

I haven’t heard of Urkai. Thanks!

I have a Peugeot bike and I highly recommend it! It was a hand me down from my father in law (it was brand new, he never road it but I always did when I visited him so he gave it to me!) My only issue is the colour. It’s grey with maroon accents and it is due for a paint job. I was toying with the ever popular mint colour but I think I am leaning towards pink now! I’d like to try painting it myself, I’m sure there is a DIY out there! xx

Rustoleum spray paint works wonders! Not sure I would paint it though if it’s a classic/vintage Peugeot.
